Skywiring

Skywiring is great for simple circuits that you want or need to keep small!

Here are two views of the power supply for the propeller clock:

This circuit reduces the 12V supply to 8V using a TO-3 adjustable regulator.
The 4V drop at 0.5A is 2W as heat.
The secondary regulators are a TO-220 fixed 5V regulator for the Control Module
and a TO-220 adjustable regulator for the motor (so the rotating speed can be adjusted).

Here are two views of the power supply for the motor.

This circuit is a low dropout adjustable regulator with an enable so the 
motor can be shut off by the Control Module using a logic signal.
